Jake Elman arrives at LWOSports with over a decade of sports writing experience, dating back to freelance writing high school games as a high school student in the early 2010s. Jake later served as a college football beat writer for The Palm Beach Post and an NFL columnist for Sportscasting.com, also having bylines with UPI, MLB Advanced Media, and other respected outlets. A tortured New York Jets fan and slightly less-tortured New York Yankees fan, Jake earned his bachelor's degree from Florida Atlantic University long before their March Madness 2023 run. Raised in New York, Jake now lives in Florida with his dogs, Jack and Karma.
